A Little Bit About Me...

I worked with a variety of ages from k-12. My most recent experience has been with students in elementary school. I worked for a semester teaching children about sustainable practices and the benefits of buying produce from local farms. While I am most comfortable with high school students, I have great communication skills and can work well with all children.
I am willing to tailor my teaching style to the needs of the individual(s). However, I prefer to add an interactive element to all of my lessons.

My passion for teaching is open forum. I meet the students where they are. some are visual, some hands on and some automated. I pace the student and test in areas of weakness. I provide computer advance learning as well as class and peer mentoring. I use all types of devices such as field trips, school resources, library and hands on life experences to get the students more involved. I like the student to process information by coming to the board and classroom prompts to get students involved in the daily lesson.
