I have taught many different students from all types of backgrounds, from gifted to learning disabled. The reason I have success with these students is because I make learning fun and relevant. I develop creative tools that are of interest to that particular student, while cultivating a great deal of empathy. This is based on getting to know the family the child is a member of. I love teaching and working with all children. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am a firm believer in teaching through discovery and in providing a creative approach to learning that appeals to all styles of learning. Last May I graduated from Skidmore College with a degree in history. My passion for history has been driven by my voracious appetite for knowledge.
