I believe in a combination of classic and Modern Music I feel that the classics provide the basics and the structure that one needs to learn properly, I feel the modern Music helps with retaining students and creates a sense accomplishment by being able to play music that they hear on a regular bases. I also promote creativity and try to challenge the students to seek out improvements in what they are learning . Finally I believe that music should be both challenging and fun and the Students should not be forced and should be allowed to choose to learn music.

I have experience with visually and multi-disabled children, working with autistic and downs syndrome children, and basic sign language skills. I have my BS degree in elementary education from the University of Pittsburgh.
