Spanish is what I love. It is my major, and I have been studying it for 6 years now. I will soon graduate with a BA in Spanish language and culture then go on to graduate school for a PhD in linguistics. This coming academic year I will be living and studying in Sevilla, Spain. Energetic, passionate tutor ready to teach spanish to anyone

In high school I excelled in spanish to such an extent that I placed out of most of the university spanish classes. Thus, while I have moved on to learning arabic my spanish skills are honed to the extent that I plan to graduate with a spanish major (in addition to my anthropology major) by the time I finish my undergraduate work at Northwestern.
How I teach depend on what the student needs most; I would never coerce anyone into a predefined tutoring rubric, as that may harm their ability to learn.

The temptation as instructor is to simply restructure the way in which a student learns in order to fit your view, and those I have helped encourage such behavior. Guidance, suggestions, and allusions as to how a student can improve and understand is a better alternative. Simply doing the work for the student has little value in regards to education. A fine balance must be struck between open ended comments of little use and high jacking creativity through re-working large portions of work. My policy is to make the student aware of their shortcomings, explain my reasoning, and use enigmatic reserve in telling them how to correct errors. I would define my teaching style as hands on. If I can find a real life example of the material at hand, I will use it. I love to work on whiteboards/ chalkboards with students.
