A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is hands on. Students need to work with concepts to understand them. I can often explain things in a manor that students understand. I believe every student can learn if given the correct instruction for their learning style.
I went back to school afer retiring from my job as a medical technologist to start a new career as a teacher. I have tutored in the past as a college student. I would to teach math because I have been applying math my entire life. I have a four year degree in mechanical engineering technology. I have used math extensively in my everyday job. It was my job to try to "trick" the scales before they could become available for commercial use. I moved back home to Coshocton when I got married. I quickly found a job teaching adults within our county's GED program.
