Elementary Math is one of my top subjects! As an elementary math teacher, I have actively instructed students, created lesson plans, assigned and corrected homework, managed students in the classroom, communicated with parents and helped students prepare for standardized testing. As a math teacher, my job duties can vary significantly between elementary school and higher grade levels. In elementary school, the mastery of basic skills is of paramount importance. My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : I have my bachelor's degree in childhood and special education as well as certification in early childhood education. I have my master's degree in literacy education. I am currently a reading teacher in a local school district, working with children in the elementary grades.

My teaching style is based on the gradual release theory, where instruction begins with me demonstrating a skill or strategy, followed by the student practicing the skill with my support, eventually leading to independent use of the skill by the student.
