I was trained academically at PAFA to draw and paint still life, landscape, the human figure but as a child, my Mother introduced me to painting in the tub with newsprint taped to walls, with tempra paint in baby food jars to express myself. I love teaching young children but have worked with all ages, from tots to elders. I like to incorporate a sense of humor in my teaching - I believe when children can relax they are much more open to learning. I am also sensitive to children's different learning styles whether they are visual, auditory or kinesthetic, and tailor my approach accordingly. No two sessions are ever the same!
