My teaching style varies with the learning style of the student I am working with at any given time. I believe in positive reinforcement with facilitative rather than demeaning corrections. In 1980 I acquired a BA in Geography (3.81 gpa in my major, 3.53 overall), with a minor degree in Environmental Geology (3.6 gpa). During my last three years of undergraduate study I was the departmental tutor in Physical, Cultural and Economic Geography.
