In May of 2010, I successfully completed my fourth year of teaching. Each year has been different. The children of today learn in many different ways. There has been a change in learning styles over the course of time. Some children may learn through hands on activities and modeling, while others learn through lecture. Regardless of the learning style, I have learned that it is my job to make learning relevant and meaningful to students.
The role of the teacher is to be a facilitator. The teacher facilitates the students in making personal decisions as well as participates in discussions that affect society. A Little Bit About Me...

My experience lies in business, with a bachelor degree in Marketing, which included a minor in Spanish. Although I do not have a background in education, I have always been a useful tool for students. I have been tutoring students since my senior year at Germantown High school. At the University of Tennessee, I tested out of college pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus. I also tested into the two-hundred level Spanish courses.
