I have workie with students from grades k-8, and I have tutored adults seekeing GED preparation in language arts. I use charecter maps and art in relation to one another as visual aids to help students put mental ideas of how sentences are formed.
My experience as an art, social studies, and language arts educator would be a benefit to your company. A Little Bit About Me...

During college I spent a lot of time volunteering with youth. With a BA in psychology, I have learned to be very calm and patient when working with students. I spent 15 years overseas teaching English Conversation. However, I truly enjoy math. During my years of babysitting I assisted children with different homework. I also spent the summer of 2005 working with the Derek Coleman Hoops Festival in which I had to tutor in both math and reading.
I love love love teaching. While teaching I try to be energetic and fun. I try to learn and understand the children's learning style in order to teach them most effectively. I am most satisfied in my teaching when my children truly understand what has been taught. Whether using candy or sports, I think everyone can learn what they need to know by relating it to something they already love.
