I am enrolled in the masters program at western kentucky university. Looking to pursue my masters in Arts Adult Education I currently substitute teach for the City of Bowling Green, KY I have been a columist for an interenet magazine I also have experience in being an editor for a company newsletter I love mentoring and teaching to not only children but adults. Everyone has the ability to learn. As a teacher you have to discern the different learning styles from the students and encourage them to apply their individual learning styles to the tasks at hand. The key to being a good teacher is being patient. I believe children learn best in a positive and stress-free environment. When a child does good on the work then I praise them and if they make a mistake then I explain to them the error in the homework. I have been in the classrooms of public schools every day for about 60% of my adult life. I hold a Bachelor's Degree from Oberlin College with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Math.
