After three years of teaching Science I had a strong desire to work with ESE and Special Needs children so I became a Sub for Hillsborough County so I could travel where need and work with various children. My teaching style is all about application and functionality. How do I apply it to real life situations, so that the student can better remember it. That is my first train of thought when presenting material. With math, the key to math is take it one step at a time. I want to know what the student is thinking and key in on their mistakes and let them guide themselves out of their mistakes, so that they learn the correct steps to solving the problem.
