I’m great with kids, I have very strong patience and hade mostly straight a’s all the way through to 7th grade. I can work at the child’s pace and help them catch up to the pace most kids follow. I’m willing to make arrangements on prices, but the lowest I’ll go is 10 dollars an hour. I make my price cheap because I know that the child’s parent obviously has a kid and I know money can be tight when it comes to children.

I love working with students and researchers, and I have what I call an open door teaching philosophy. I believe that a successful teacher is patient and available to students. I also believe that questions are as important as answers, and that students learn best in environments in which they are encouraged to ask questions and make mistakes. Students learn through trial and error, and it is important to nurture that process. Thus, teaching is not only about correcting students, but also about showing approval for what a student has done right.
I have earned four degrees from Louisiana Tech University, a B.A. in History with a double major in Political Science (2007), a B.A. in English with a minor in Cultural Resources (2007), a Post-Bacc in Technical Communication (2008), and an M. My learning style engages children in the learning process by allowing them to share their experiences to make connections in the subjects. I believe children become more comfortable and receptive when they are a part of the process of learning. I share my enthusiasm with my students so they feel that I am a part of their learning.
