Italian is one of my top subjects! I am Italian and last year I was enrolled in a MA Program in an Italian University (UNiversità Cattolica di Milano) to learn how to teach my own language

I like to use a communicative way of teaching: I use songs, videos, games to teach the language to my students, and I believe that is really important for them to hear me talk in my own language. For Latin I usually try to teach the grammar first and to make the student think about the words we have to translate.
I am an Italian Professor in College in the Boston area. I am 27 years old and I have been tutoring Italian and Latin for 7 years and I really enjoyed it. I have a very nice relationship with my students but I like to work hard with them. My mission here is to spread my beautiful language and culture in US!

Italian is one of my top subjects! I have a BA in Italian lit from Smith College and a MA in Romance linguistics from Middlebury College and the University of Florence. I am an experienced tutor, currently working as an instructor of Italian at Endicott College.

My teaching style has always been strictly student-centric! I think of foreign language as a way for people to expand their world and explore whatever they find interesting. I want students to follow their own ambitions and I will help them get there. I like to encourage speaking just as much as listening. The lesson should be about the student, not me.

My study of language has always been linked to teaching, beginning at Pennsylvania State University, where I earned 2 Bachelor's degrees in French and Italian. It was there that I began tutoring students privately, and as a contracted NCAA athlete tutor. I earned a 3.8 GPA, and a 4.0 equivalent GPA while studying abroad in Paris in 2005. Upon my return to the states, I matriculated into an MA/PhD program at Boston University.
