A Little Bit About Me...

I love the experience of teaching children and seeing the light in their eyes when they understand what they are learning. I believe each child learns in their own way and in their own time. As such, I believe in going along with the student's ability. I do not believe in high pressure teaching. I am patient and easy going. If a student is struggling, I back up and try another approach. I strive for my students to enjoy what they are learning as much as possible.
I earned my Bachelor degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics. I was a substitute teacher for three years. I recently earned nine credit hours of additional education in order to renew my teaching license with the State of Ohio.
