My teaching style is one that allows the students to ask any pertinent question about the subject at hand. By allowing the students to do this, it allows me to see what might be giving them a hard time with the learning. As a tutor, my job is to take students from where they are to where they need to be. I can do this successfully for several reasons. First, I am patient. Often student frustration stems from classes proceeding too fast, and teachers lacking time to help slower learners. By patiently working with a student, I can teach at a pace that works best for them, overcoming much discouragement that comes from falling behind. Second, I am very flexible in my teaching methods.
