As a tutor, my job is to take students from where they are to where they need to be. I can do this successfully for several reasons. First, I am patient. Often student frustration stems from classes proceeding too fast, and teachers lacking time to help slower learners. By patiently working with a student, I can teach at a pace that works best for them, overcoming much discouragement that comes from falling behind. Second, I am very flexible in my teaching methods. If a student is struggling, I am committed to trying different approaches until the student has mastered the concept. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is one that allows the students to ask any pertinent question about the subject at hand. By allowing the students to do this, it allows me to see what might be giving them a hard time with the learning. Thus, I would be able to ask pertinent questions, that will allow me to show different ways around the troublesome areas, while giving the students a new way to learn the necessary material.
When working towards my Bachelor's I was able to achieve a dual BS in Accounting and Business Management. After working a few years, I decided to go into teaching. While doing this, I was able to assimilate my real life working experience, into the classroom. I have since obtained a second certification in Special Education. A Little Bit About Me...

I love trying to help children gain knowledge. I believe anyone is capable of learning something new no matter how old they are and that patience and the use of deductive knowledge are they key's to having someone develop their knowledge. My method of teaching will evoke these attributes as well as reptition so that not only will your child know the material I am tutoring by the time that I am done, but it will also become routine to them.
