Everybody learns differently at a seperate pace.

First, I examine what is needed to be helped with. Next, I sit down and ask the student what he or she seems to be struggling with and why. From there I build a lesson plan with the student and give them the tools they need to succeed. I have worked with children with ADHD and aspergers.
I am an undergrad at HACC majoring in Biology. I excel in English, math, basic human biology, environmental science, & study skills. I hope to become a high school teacher someday. Elementary Special Education Teacher

I have been teaching students with many different special needs for the past 19 years. My experience ranges from students with severe developmental delays to students with emotional disabilities. My experience has mostly been with students who have learning disabilities. I also have son that has an IEP for learning disabilities and is thriving now in school. Let's make learning fun!!!

I like to do a lot of positive reinforcing and reaffirming.
I have worked with children for over 15 years. During this time I have provide homework help and tutoring in Math, Reading and Spanish. The children that I have worked with range in age from 5 to 17 years old. I have also done an extensive amount of work with infants and toddlers in the field of early learning as a nanny.
