My comments on tutoring Grammar : Very experienced with proper grammar and sentence construction, as well as verbs, verb tenses, adverbs, adjectives, and their proper use.

I have taught classes on aviation related subjects for my Civil Air Patrol. I was homeschooled all the way to the college level, and I remember a lot of subjects in great detail. I have not taught classes at a high school or college. Generally speaking, I have a vast area of knowledge and I know I can help you with your learning needs!
I will ask the student how they learn a subject the best, and help them with their problem by reinforcing basic concepts and then adding on to those concepts. Also, I am a motivator; I will help the student understand that the subject is learnable and maybe even enjoyable to learn!

I try to make things more interesting with activities and significant interaction, avoiding just talking at my students. Engaging would be my style.

Being in college for four years exposed me to social environments that I normally wouldn't have been able to encounter on a day to day basis. I have always wanted to be a teacher, I couldn't really see myself doing anything else. I try to make learning and inclusive experience for all children. I believe that instructional strategies should be varied and flexible. Students are unique and their learning styles are different. Teachers need to have varied instructional strategies to try and meet the needs of the diversity of their students. I believe that knowledge of subject matter is extremely important, but not the sole component in instruction.
