A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated with a degree in Physical Science Education, which gives me a strong background in Physical Sciences and in math. I have worked with children and youth of all age levels and nearly every ability. I ran an afterschool program for the Salvation Army, ran a boys home for troubled boys and worked in St. Paul City schools as a substitute teacher and a night teacher at an evening school. I also have worked six summers at a Salvation Army camp. Through these experiences I have worked with both gifted and special needs children and youth.
I believe that all children have the capability to learn if someone is willing to be patient and work with them. I have experience in hands on teaching of students with their horses. I have worked on and off for many years helping memebers of local 4-H clubs prepare their animals for show. I enjoy seeing a student "click" with their project and be able to accomplish new goals. I think it is important to set specific goals for aech student and make those happen before you move on.
As a graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University in General Science Physics, I have completed extensive coursework in the areas of math, science, and engineering.
