I have always enjoyed working with children and understanding their perceptions of the given subject matter. This often results in a personal, in-depth level of conversation normally not available to most students. It has only been about five years since I was a high school student myself, and I find that it is generally very easy for me to communicate with students on a personal level, as a friend rather than from a distance as only a hired instructor.
