All students learn in different ways, and one on one tutoring allows the teacher to address a student’s learning style in a way that is not easily done in the classroom. For instance, a student who is more historically inclined may benefit from a brief math history lesson related to the day’s topic. Or, a student who is strong in logical reasoning could benefit from seeing some simplified proofs. How I present material depends on how a student most comfortably processes it.
