For example, I would conduct most lessons in German, but at a slow and comprehensive pace, so that students are able to "pick up" on the German language as if it were second nature. If there is an issue with miscommunication, I switch to English, and explain the concept again in German. I am currently working on my Masters in German Studies, as well as getting my teaching license. I have plans to go through the TEFL program to earn certification in teaching English as a Foreign language. I have been studying and teaching German/ESL since high school.
