I have worked as a pre-school teacher for two years in Syracuse, NY, where I was motivated to enter into the field of education on a permanent basis. I went back to school to attain my masters degree in education in 2008, and finished student teaching in December of 2009. I am a professional singer, actress and dancer who has taught throughout my 15 year career. I truly love teaching, especially in a one-on-one or very small group setting. Currently I teach private lessons in: piano, voice and acting. I also teach small-group: Piano, Acting, Choir, Learn to Read Music, Creative Movement, Pilates, Boot Camp, Kick Boxing. I also work with the local home school community as a 'tutor' for math and English. I believe in mentoring. It does take a few times for the student (young and old) to understand that I cannot teach them anything. I have taught in many areas of study. Since I was young, I taught my younger family members the importance of manners, honesty, care, and responsibility.
