I was raised on a farm in Iowa and attended school there until I was 13. In Zephyrhills, Fl, I was awarded valedictorian status for the class of '09. At Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University of Daytona Beach, Fl, I am a senior in the Accelerated Master's of Science in Engineering Physics degree program. This is a rigorous five-year program and is focused upon the engineering and physics involved in space systems. I remain in the Honor's Program and on the Dean's List. My career in tutoring began when I was 14 years old. Young, I had to share my passion for learning with kids in my neighborhood. When I substitute teach, there is not always a need to have to teach something but I am very happy when that times comes. I have had the opportunity to teach anywhere from 6th grade students learning about adverbs to high school students learning about trigonometric functions. Luckily, I have retained my knowledge in most areas and can help relate my experiences to the kids. I try to allow the whole group to participate and not just lecture the whole class.
