My teaching style varies upon subject and student.
I graduated from Jefferson High School in the spring of 2012. I now attend Indiana University-Purdue University in Fort Wayne. I have two younger siblings and 4 younger step-siblings that I have helped with their homework, or helped them better understand material assigned to them. Their ages range from 8-17. I know how to explain certain subjects in multiple ways to ensure that eventually the student will understand the material. I am very patient, and I understand that some people learn at slower rates than others. I am majoring in nursing, though I considered teaching English before making this decision. I love teaching, and am looking to make some extra money for things I need while in college.

Honor Student hoping to help students achieve success

English is one of my top subjects! I have taught high school English for six years total in Indiana. While teaching, I covered several areas that fall into the English category, including vocabulary, writing, grammar, and SAT practice.

I am a very hands-on learner, so I tend to try to make things as hands on or as real to life as possible.
Since graduating from Baptist Bible College in 2006, I have been teaching high school English in Indiana for six years now. I taught three years at Bethesda Christian School in Brownsburg, where I spanned English 9, 10, 11, Senior Speech, and Advanced Composition for seniors. In 2010 I began teaching at Faith Christian School in Lafayette; there I taught English 9, 10, and 11. I was also the Yearbook Advisor two years at Faith. A Little Bit About Me...

I am traditional in my teaching style.I can be non-traditional once I figure out the learning style of the student I work with.
I have been teaching English since 1974. My experience is in teaching learning disabled, accelerated, and students in the middle range. I have taught grades 6-12 along with adult education. I have tutored for the state of Indiana. I have taught literature, traditional grammar, writing, speech during my forty years as a teacher. I have chaired the English department in one of the middle schools where I worked. This is the extent of my experience for this.
