I was a teaching assistant at North Georgia College and State University for three years. I assisted with laboratory sections of biology courses and taught them in the event of a professors absence. I provided department funded tutoring services during that time as well. I have taken the GRE and Biology Section of the GRE and received excellent scores on both tests in only one sitting. I have also coached 4H horse quiz bowl and horse judging teams for several years working with elementary and middle school age children.

I have an advanced degree in engineering and a vast tutoring and in-class teaching experience while being at University of Delaware. I have M.S in Electrical Engineering. As a Florida A & M University graduate with a B.S. in Biological and Agricultural System Engineering, I have extensive experience with various levels of math and science. I had a strong will to learn and a certain knack for explaining things while I was enrolled in college. I also have utilized extensive grammatical skills in writing research papers and essays for school along with reports and proposals for my job. The Florida Writing Assessment was implemented in grades 4, 8, and 10 as required by a law passed by the 1990 legislature. Does your student need a tutor? Beginning in 2010, each essay was scored by one rater. In previous years, two raters were used and the scores were averaged. Prior to 2010, a student could have received a half-point score, such as 4.5; whereas since 2010, no half-point scores are possible. Additionally, beginning in 2010, each student within the same grade level was required to write an essay using the same mode of writing (narrative, expository, or persuasive).
