I am currently in my fifth year as an adjunct college instructor. My experience includes Art History, Visual Theory and Criticism, and Art Appreciation. After graduation I decided never to stop studying Law, the Brazilian legal system, different legal systems around the world and international law, both public and private. I became a specialist in tax law, a master in jurisprudence and a PhD in international law. Becoming a professor was only natural and my teasing career began in 1992 or 1993. As a child I learned to speak English and French as well as Portuguese. After that I learned other foreign languages. I am now living in the US and would like to teach again. I believe in education and don't understand why people don't invest more time and resources in education. Educated human beings not only look different but they are different from within. I graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in History from Carroll College in 2001. As an undergraduate, I was on the Dean's List for two and a half years; I was a member of the national honor society for students of Catholic colleges and universities, as well as a member of the national honor society for history students. After a two year hiatus from school, I attended the University of Montana School of law, graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 2005. I am well versed in a variety of academic fields and am particularly adept at research, writing, and speaking. With a bachelor degree in biology and a follow up minor in chemistry i am well versed in both the life and physical sciences. I am broadfield science certified through the state of Montana which enables me to teach any science course 5-12. I have been a classroom teacher for the past nine years and have extensive experience using technology as a teaching tool. I am very proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. As a science educator I strive to have students build their own knowledge with my guidance. I adhere to the constructivist philosophy of education and in doing so I have designed many lessons with the inquiry approach in mind.
