A Little Bit About Me...

My superior at Yavapai College who monitored my classes in order to write his evaluation, remarked once that "...you have the patience of an angel." I don't know whether this is entirely correct since I haven't had a personal encounter with such a heavenly body, but I consider myself to be a kind and patient instructor who also loves for her students to learn. Since each child/adult learns in a different way, I believe that it is important to pay attention to individual learning styles. I am creative, resourceful, and constructive. My patience helps me to be persistent even if a student is unable to grasp a concept immediately after explaining it to them. I understand that many students learn in many different ways.
