In my experience as a musician, I have found that teaching a subject I love can really inspire students to excel. It's necessary to spread our knowledge to others. My specialty is music, but I love to teach in general because kids need good mentors. Each child is different so I use an individualized approach to my teaching styles. We all learn differently whether we are auditory, visual, or kinesthetic learners. I asses the student and provide the material/exercises necessary in order to create the best learning experience possible. I have been teaching guitar lessons for a year now. I have just graduated from Colorado State University Pueblo with my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. I have worked as a tutor for Pueblo Community College from 2009 to 2010. I have also coached baseball for youth from 2002 to 2004. Have have experience teaching young students along with older students. On hands approach, using examples of real scenarios helping students understand not only how something works but why they would need it, or how to use it. I also use visuals to help show, for stundents not understanding from listening.
