I enjoy working with students. It seems that, in most cases, tutoring is essentially a confidence-builiding exercise. Yes, it's anout instructional leadership, but it's more about showing a student they can really achieve what they're setting out to do. I really enjoy showing students that they know the solution; it's just about learning how to properly express it. I have helped students from my church for the past eight years in math science and english. I have also worked with my sisters first grade students in math. I enjoy working with youth. It is extremely rewarding to watch a child when that " i get moment" happens and their face lights up with pride, happiness and a sense of accomplishment. Try to customize to students intrest in order to keeep attention and make as entertaining as possible. Every child sees things from different eyes. I just teach them how to look.
