I am a chemist with many years of experience (close to 40). I also completed teacher certificate program. Recently , I taught chemistry to 150 students at the HS level. I also taught chemistry and physics years ago. Love to help students achieve their full potential. I did tutor biology, but I love also algebra.

I worked in the tutoring section of both East Tennessee State University and Southern State Community College. I did not major in the subjects which I listed (I minored in Chemistry), but I do have experience as tutor. At Southern State, I tutored basic math and Algebra Courses to adult students who had been out of school for several years. At East Tennessee State University, I tudored freshman in the subjects of Chemisty and Physics when I was a Senior. I refreshed my skills in Chemistry last year when my daughter enrolled in an online AP Chemistry class. I am a French native speaker. I gave private tutoring lessons at the University Language Center to adults and their families as well as students preparing for the Graduate Proficiency Test (GPT) at the University of Minnesota. I was committing 2 to 3 hours a week of ESL, math and science tutoring junior high students from immigrant family background at Abraham Lincoln High School. My dedication made me noticed and recognized by the principal of the school which allowed me to work as an ESL teacher in the summer of 2004.
