I received a technology degree in 1975. Several years later I returned to college to persue a Physics/Mechanical Engineering Degree from SUNY New Paltz and RPI. I was an "A" student in Physics and enjoyed tutoring many classmates. I was a guest lecturer several times at RPI. Due to work and family commitments I did not complete the degree. My wife and I homeschooled our children through the primary grades. I taught sciences. While an Employee at IBM, I wrote and taight technical courses. I did my associate degree studies in Classical performance. When I completed my undergraduate B.A. I had more of a focus study on Jazz composition. I was a high school vocal music director 7-12 for one year right after I graduated in 2007 to 2008. I have since then been teaching a wide variety of music classes in everything from elementary to upper level theory and aural skills. I have been teaching private lessons on my free time for about 4 years now and I currently have 15 students of my own.
