Experience Summary
I have over 25 years experience teaching children & adults, including handicapped students, privately and in classroom settings.I am competent tutoring many scholastic areas including English, Math, Science, Art and social studies. As a student at Mass College of Liberal Arts, I was consistently on the Deans list with honors or high honors.I have been a music teacher since 1983,focusing on music theory, guitar & bass instruction, as well as songwriting and performance. I have also been a professional musician since 1971 and have taught all levels of music and instruments. I have been the musical Director of the Young Musicians "Rock On" Workshop in Pittsfield Ma since 2002.

Teaching Style
I have a very gentle and nurturing style of teaching. I NEVER scold or allow a student to feel bad about his/her work. I try to give an optimistic approach to each student and encourage their successes, and focus on improving their weaknesses. I leave parenting to the parents.
