I like to teach students not only the material but also how to study in general. I am sure learning how to study will help students throughout their lives. I am a current international (korean), sophomore Economics major student at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. I have taught students since I was in high school. I have several tutoring experiences from volunteering at Churches in the DC metropolitan area to private 1 on 1 tutoring. I enjoy teaching a lot, and I really love it when students come to me with happy faces after doing well on their tests. For just over a decade I have been involved in some form of peer education or mentoring. As a senior in high school, I tutored students in mathematics and science. As an ACS Certified Chemist, I have been exposed to upper level mathematics, chemistry and physics, but am still required to use writings skills in preparing various reports and papers.
