A Little Bit About Me...

Before deciding to return to graduate school in 2006, my relevant professional experience included teaching LSAT courses through Kaplan in the Washington, DC area during 2005. Previously, I had tutored high school students in languages and math with University Instructors from 2003-2004 in Williamsburg, VA. I also taught English classes to high school and middle school children in 2002. Additionally, I spent two summers (2001-2002) working as a preschool teaching assistant. My most recent teaching experience includes instructing ESL classes as a volunteer with Intercambio de Comunidades in Denver, CO between 2009-2010.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a student at Western State College in Gunnison, CO I have been tutoring students and fellow athletes in Math for the past year. I have enjoyed the work I have done so far in this area and was looking to further my experience in this field throughout the Gunnison area. I expect to graduate with my BA in 2011.
Because all student learn at different levels I believe in order to be a good Math tutor you must show patients with the students you are working with. With my background in math I feel very comfortable working with kids of all skill levels and helping them reach there full potential.
