My passion for providing students with an excellent education has led me to 28 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Education and a Masters of Arts in Special Education. Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse population of students and have become proficient in designing lessons that accommodate multiple intelligences and incorporate aspects of varied cultures. My love for English Literature has allowed me to flourish in English class starting in elementary school. As a freshman in high school I was elected to be a peer tutor. I held the volunteer job for all four years of my high school career, specializing in assisting with understanding/editing grammar, the art of creating an A+ essay, and analyzing literature. Through my college courses I have gained extensive skills in many areas of study including math, computer skills, and the best way to study for a test!
