A Little Bit About Me...

The best way to describe my teaching style is flexible. I don't limit myself to one style because I've never taught one type of child. Students are diverse and as a teacher my style of teaching must also be diverse. I believe in modeling and hands-on learning experiences. Students need to see new concepts worked through correctly. They should then show understanding of material through such processes as reteaching and through real world application whenever possible.
My experience in education is vast. I have earned a BA in elementary education. I have worked for eight years as a teacher in the education field. I also have a MAED in Early Childhood. My lessons are very interactive, and a main aspect is to nurture critical thinking. After setting up a situation, I will pose problems for the student to solve.
