I am seasoned veteran eager to share my knowledge. I have been tutoring, mentoring, teaching, volunteering, training, and instructing since Middle School, working during my youth in church volunteer programs. During my career as an Educator I have worked in the Business sector applying these skills. I have written curriculum for ESL, ABE and GED programs for several learning institutions. I taught freshman composition at Texas A&M Commerce and Paris Junior College. My primary focus in graduate school was literature. Much of my studies related to children's and adolescent literature. The study of composition and compositional theory made up a secondary focus of my studies. After graduating, I worked in the sales and management fields and assisted students in the community in writing speeches for competition and personal statements for college applications.
