My name is Jady, and I am seeking opportunities to be a part time Chinese tutor for anybody of any age who needs help on learning Chinese or knowing about Chinese culture. My comments on tutoring Painting : As an elementary, high school and college Studio Art teacher, I teach units on painting in a variety of media as is age-appropriate. I personally work in water, tempera, acrylic, oil and beyond.

I believe learning should always be engaging and meaningful. It is critical to address individual student learning modalities and needs so the student can experience great success. My comments on tutoring Painting : I have taken 13 years of private art class, going through painting, drawing, sketching, sculpting. Oils, Acrylics, and Watercolors. (Oils and Acrylics are preferred).

I would say my teaching style is really focused on the student and what they need. In school I was an average student never getting lower than a C or higher than in an A. So I really want to focus on listening to the student, especially because they probably are not heard at school. I want to make each subject interesting to the student, whether that means going out and playing basketball or chess or candy or anything the student absolutely loves. I want to attach each subject to a good memory, I don't want to pressure them or push them to just memorize facts that I know they will probably forget after they are tested. From my own personal experience I want any student I tutor to turn around and actually enjoy learning about a subject they are having trouble with.
