A Little Bit About Me...

I would like to think that I am exciting and fun. I know what it's like to want to impress your teachers esspecially when it comes to music so I don't like to put to much pressure on my pupils. I want them to be able to learn at there pwn pace but also know that I'm here for a reason and that I expect an equal amount of effort from them as well.
I did my associate degree studies in Classical performance. When I completed my undergraduate B.A. I had more of a focus study on Jazz composition. I was a high school vocal music director 7-12 for one year right after I graduated in 2007 to 2008. I have since then been teaching a wide variety of music classes in everything from elementary to upper level theory and aural skills. A Little Bit About Me...

While at West Chester University, I had to take Statistics and Probability and that was because I was in the excelled Math program in high school. I had all Math courses up to and including Advanced Algebra. While attending Adirondack Community College, I had to take a Medical Math course that covered many conversions.
I love teaching and working with children and adults. I, myself have achieved a high level of excellence in education by completing two degrees and plan on completing my BS in Nursing. I believe in teaching through demonstration and by providing an optimal atmosphere for learning. I strive to make a difference in other peoples' lives and that is why I chose to become a nurse.

A Little Bit About Me...

I as ordained a Priest in 2004 but have twenty years of teaching from vocal/piano to languages. I am bilingual growing up with a father from Quebec,Canada and can easily tutor in French in both dialects. I can also tutor literature and reading. I love working with young people and see that as part of my ministry. And while my faith is extremely important to me, I am not looking to convert others. I just want the opportunity to help young people of any age.
My style of teaching asks the student to do his or her best and will help them find that level in a fun and friendly manner. I am patient and understanding and believe that with a joke and a laugh, learning can truly be gained and cherished...not drudgery! We will have fun and get the job done!!

A Little Bit About Me...

I love being able to teach someone something new. I love learning, but have always been a visual learner, so whether I'm teaching someone how to read, or simply helping them improve their reading skills, I introduce visual aids. I am patient, easy going and a great listener. When it comes to teaching/tutoring/mentoring, I have always been very hands on. I strive to create an environment where the pupil feels comfortable and he or she is excited to learn.
I graduated Cum Laude from Manhattan College with a double major in Psychology and Communications. In addition to studying for two majors, I was also a Division 1 athlete and held 2 jobs.
