Hi, my name is Lara and I want to be your chemistry tutor.

I have tutored chemistry in college dorms for two years and can figure out how to solve any problem. I only tutor basic chemistry I and II and can help at the high school or college level. I enjoy helping others succeed academically and using the tricks that I know to help others learn. I am also very experienced with human anatomy, and was an undergraduate teaching assistant in the anatomy lab at Texas Tech University.
I try to identify a student's learning style before jumping straight into the tutoring. I can use real world examples to help explain problems.

Won 2nd Place at the Second Annual Coastal Bend Engineering Competition. I've taught various math, science, and Spanish courses in substitution for professors and teachers.
