My comments on tutoring Algebra : Working as a Teacher Assistant for the past year and a half, I have mainly tutored my students in Algebra 1.

I feel that positive reinforcement and patience are two very valuable traits when it comes to teaching. I work hard to ensure that I demonstrate these traits when working with my students.
I just recently graduated California State University with a degree in Liberal Studies. Within this degree I chose to emphasize on mathematics because I want to become a high school math teacher. I have taken every course from Algebra-Intermediate Calculus. I am highly experienced in Algebra 1 and Geometry. I have been working at a probation school for a year and a half with at risk middle school and high school students. One of my many obligations is to help my students in math. Online Math Tutor

I only teach online on an hourly basis. When I teach I don't just answer the questions my students ask of me rather let them understand it for themselves. Also, I encourage them to think and analyze too so that I would know where they are weak. I also develop their interest in learning the subject . That being said, I make learning fun and appealing.
I am a graduate of BS Mathematics and currently pursuing my master's degree. I have also been a lecturer for a year right after graduating. I make learning interesting.

I completed a Masters in Chemistry in 2009, and since then I have worked as an organic chemist in an academic setting. During graduate school, I taught college level chemistry and organic chemistry in a laboratory setting. I prepared lectures and handouts, held study groups in small and large group settings, and worked with students one on one. Making difficult concepts in Math easier to understand!

Experienced Tutor

I began tutoring my freshman year of high school. For my fours year of high school I worked at Kumon Learning Center in Los Angeles. Here, I learned a lot of my tutoring experience. I worked with children from the ages of 5 to 17. I helped these children in math from kindergarten math all the way up to calculus, and then in reading and reading comprehension skills from the younger kindergarteners to younger high schoolers. I enjoy working with children and try to teach children in a fun way so they do not become bored and can learn to really understand and grasp concepts.
