I have over ten years of experience in the education field in the capacity of teaching. I have a BS in mathematics and a MA in Teaching. I hold two valid professional teaching certificates in Mathematics,Academically Gifted education, and Gifted and talented education for the states of NC and SC. I have been a high school math teacher for 10 years, an adult high school and GED teacher for eight years. I also have over 12 years of tutoring experience in mathematics, science, and reading.
I love teaching and I truly believe that all children can learn, but in their own way. While in graduate school, I acquired teaching experience as I taught a Counseling Theories course to undergraduate students for three semesters. I also taught an experiential counseling microskills course to students enrolled in a school counseling program. I have also provided mentorship for several counseling trainees over the last several years. I feel confident I could provide excellent tutoring services in statistics as I took numerous graduate level courses in statistics and research design.
