I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in math. I have a Master's of Science degree in Elementary Education K-6 with a math concentration. These degrees and the nine credit hours in Gifted Education have enabled me to have an extensive understanding of mathematics, logic and critical & creative thinking. From 1997 to 2001, I was a software trainer in Ft. Lauderdale Florida for corporations and as a selfcontractor. I moved to Naples and finished my BS degree in Management in the spring 2005 and starting Substitute teaching in the fall of 2005 (I taught Governement, American History,Economics, Marketing, Psychology and Sociology). I took the SAE in social science and passed in June 2006 and the SAE in Markeing in April 2007 and passed. A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout high school and college, I've always excelled in my school work. I was president of the math club and often tutored my peers during my spare time. The University of Florida has provided me with a well rounded education, and I feel myself knowledgable in many areas, from languages like french, spanish and hindi, to the sciences like chemistry, biology, and physics. I'm also very familiar with writing term papers.

I have been working in the banking field for over 15 years since I graduated with a degree in business. In Jan. 2009 I was laid off from a banking job for the second time. I am doing a career change to teaching. I have been hired as football coach at Estero High School, I will be working as a teacher this fall 2009. I have been fingerprinted by Lee County School and I am cleared to be employed. I have a son that is 8 years old I help with his home work every night. Last year in the second grade they wanted him to stay back, I said I would help him. This year in second grade he is making E & S Honor Roll.
My teaching style would be the same way I teach my son. I give him the opportunity to learn. I work with him. I put the time in to help him. I take the time to help him, and if he get a problem wrong I help him correct it.
