I've been a teacher's unofficial little helper since I was in Elementary, helping the students of my class that the teacher simply didn't have the extra time to help. From then on, I helped and even eventually taught my younger siblings when the current school system left them in the dust, and even helped them get a leg up and advance faster than their classmates. I've tutored a few younger kids in various subjects in my high school years, as well as occasionally teaching Taekwondo classes.
My teaching style is flexible, tailored to the specific needs of the student in question. Everybody learns differently and at different paces!

I started my career in NYC teaching at Rikers Island Prison. I then taught at a Residential Treatment Center for Abused children, I received certification as an Administrator and worked as an Asst. Supt. Eventually I moved on to Smithtown NY, where I Supervised Reading teachers and Title 1 teachers. I was promoted to Asst.Supt for Special Ed. and Special Services. I retired from the Public Schools but 2 months later was employed to Supervise a Head Start program. Four years later I left to Supervise a Program for ADHD adolescents. For 29 years I held a second job teaching at St.Joseph's College and Dowling College as an Adjunct Professor. I trained teachers at a Graduate and Under Graduate level.

I worked in California for one year as a substitute teacher; I worked for three years in a Christian School first in a 3-4 combination, then a 5-6 combination, then a 4-5 combination. I then moved on to tutoring. My first year was with Sylvan Learning Center, then with a private tutoring group, One to One Learning Center in Santa Rosa, CA. for six years.
