A Little Bit About Me...

My experience in tutoring, substitute teaching, and being an elementary classroom teacher for over one year, my teaching experiences have helped me to instruct students in their learning endeavors. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been employed by the Cambria Heights School District for 14 years as a Title 1 educator. I currently am involved in curriculum math and reading. My job mainly deals with helping students achieve success by developing learning skills that fit the individual needs of specific students and adapting regular classroom instruction to fit those needs.
Most lessons can be taught in various styles but teachers are often faced with a curriculum guideline that they must follow. Often they do not have time to reteach the lesson and students begin to fall behind. Education has always been extremely important to me. I have recently retired, having taught third grade for over thirty years. I worked in the public school system during this time, tutoring Math. I have tutored and aided my nieces from elementary school to the present. I still help them with papers and studying for tests.
