I believe it is important that people learn at their own pace, and I like to give students the tools and guidance to figure out things on their own.

I was a Dance Instructor at various studios, and I taught Communication Studies as a Graduate Instructional Assistant at Texas State University in San Marcos. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with a minor in Economics and plan to continue my education into a Masters of Science in Accountancy program. During my tenure as a student, I had the opportunity to work four years in the college's Academic Resource Center as a writing consultant where I assisted students to improve their writing ability and to understand that writing should be look at the process rather than attempt to "correct" each paper.
