My comments on tutoring Psychology : I have a Master's in Professional Counseling, and I am proficient in APA research writing. Theory, and the various theoretical approaches, is clearly defined in my tutoring concepts. I also tutor on groups and the diversity that group dynamics brings. I am strong in the 8 content areas that are required to pass the National Counselor Exam. These include: Human Growth and Development; Groups; Theory; Social and Cultural concerns; Ethics; Statistics; Research; Counseling methods.

I enjoy walking alongside students with patience and encouragement. I look at the the why behind the writing obstacle, and assist the student to achieve their personal goals. What other people view as a daunting writing task, I see as fun. We can achieve your writing needs together.
I have tutored Middle School students in all aspects of Language Arts. I have tutored high school students in all aspects of English Composition. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from the UNH with a B.A. (summa cum laude) in Psychology in 1982. I attended Antioch/NE, graduating in 1985 with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology. I began a private practice and started teaching at the University of New Hampshire and at community colleges in the area and later at Emerson College and Northeastern University. I attended Harvard Divinity School and received a M.Div. in 1993 with a concentration in Comparative Religions and Pastoral Counseling. More recently, I was certified in a program called Creative Journal Expressive Arts which integrates the right and left hemispheres of the brain, enhancing learning, memory, problem solving, creativity and many other areas of brain function.
