Teaching has been something I have done a great deal of my life no matter what path I was on. When I was in nursing school, patient teaching was a strong point of mine. I love children. Since the age of six I have studied classical piano, recently finishing my piano studies at the bachelors degree level. Currently, I have been teaching Emergency Medicine to help Reynolds Army Community Hospital maintain 100% proficiency in job qualifications and standards. This includes slides and instructor led courses. I have taught in English in a School to a classroom size of about 30 students in Korea for about 6 months. This required me to make lesson plans and activities and a positive learning environment. At the same time I tutored students in English in a local orphanage. I taught and instructed fellow technicians about one year to increase yield productions in a manufacturing environment. I have always loved to teach, and loved to travel and meet new people. This led to traveling for a summer during college to Mexico City, living with a Spanish-speaking family. I also spent twelve weeks in West Africa teaching ESL and speaking French before my senior year at OBU.
